ROSEY is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, lepto vaccine, Snap 4DX heartworm and tick disease tested negative, de-wormed and micro-chipped. ROSEY weighs around 60 pounds, however, she does need to gain a good amount of weight. She has a date of birth of 1 March 2014

ROSEY, as with all dogs would benefit and enjoy basic and advanced obedience training. Doing this with her family would benefit both her and them so that each can learn body language, personalities, boundaries and expectations. As mentioned she is very responsive and I believe it would be very easy and a lot of fun to train and play with her. She would benefit an active family who will take her on adventures, road trips and exciting walks allowing her to take in the sights, smells and sounds the world has to offer. ROSEY rides great in the car.

Here are notes from her foster family:

• very hesitant about going up the stairs so she opted to sleep downstairs in the living room;
• has some prey instinct for cats but responds well when corrected; we are still working on that;
• very playful and easy going with kids and adults, regardless of gender;
• she is quiet but has typical gsd energy; loves to run and play and gets along well with my 3 year old male;
• we have free feeding and she is doing great, eating small portions through the day (I have her on Nutro or also called Natural choice; she likes it);
• she loves turkey cold cuts ( lunch meat) as a treat; very gentle when taking a treat;
• pulls when on leash but getting better;

ROSEY is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $450.

Our process takes around 2 -7 days, and ensuring your references are aware that we will be calling, could speed up the process. Once you have been approved, we discuss any questions in regards to the dog you are wanting to adopt, then you complete and submit the contract, make payment and then we can work out the pick up / transport arrangements.

ROSEY is currently located in Texas with one of our foster families. There are transport organizations that will pick up and drop off at locations in the different East Coast States. The cost of this transport is $175 and would be in ADDITION to her adoption fee. Transport payment must be made direct to the transport company.
