REBEL was saved from Texas where dogs in the kill shelters have 3 days to be saved before they are killed.

REBEL is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed, heart-worm and tick disease (SNAP 4DX) tested negative and micro-chipped. He has been estimated to be around 1 year old and at the time of rescue (December 2016) weighed around 7 pounds.

REBEL is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $500. This fee is not negotiable and is used to cover the rescue costs of pulling, vetting, health certificate, transport from Texas to Maine, monthly preventatives, supplements, food and anything else that is needed.

REBEL is currently on transport up from Texas to Maine and so at this moment we have no more information on her.

If you are interested in adopting REBEL, please follow the link below to the adoption application and complete then submit. It generally takes 2-3 days to process applications, as long as we are able to speak to your vet and references.

REBEL is located at the rescue in Sebec, Maine. We post in various states along the east coast and Canada where we have had lots of successful adoptions to enable more exposure for these beautiful saved souls. Families will need to be prepared to travel to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Sebec is located inbetween two small towns, Dover-Foxcroft and Milo, both approximately 6 miles away and the closest major city is Bangor (approx 45 miles). Many families travel and make a mini-vacation out of the trip and stay in beautiful Maine for the weekend, however, if this is not possible and there are options to arrange transport, we will work with you to make it happen.
