UPDATE - 13t September
NALA is back at GaDaH with the pack, and settled back in immediately. She needs to gain some weight, but that will not be a problem. I took her to the vets and she has been assessed as being healthy, just needing to gain a little weight.
She is a happy, dog, who is very responsive to her name. She loves to play with other dogs, she will play ball, although prefers to chase the other dogs, rather than bring the ball back.
She has a beautiful gait on her, and has such an elegant trot. She loves to run and barks at any noises outside. She will not be adopted out as a guard dog, but if you are looking for a family dog, that is GREAT with kids, GREAT with other dogs, very affectionate, loyal, well behaved and loving - you need to come and meet NALA.
Please email me at giveadogahome@live.com for more information or to arrange an appointment to come and meet her.
UPDATE - 5 September 2011
Nala was adopted out, but after being gone 3 weeks got pneumonia. She came back to GaDaH whilst she was sick, but it soon became clear she needed hospitalization so she could be on fluids and speed up her recovery. She spent 5 days in the vets and made a remarkable recovery, and was sent home to her family with antibiotics to finish.
Sadly, her family no longer feel that they can afford to keep her, and so she will be coming back to GaDaH this week.
Nala is a sweet dog, she loves to play with other dogs, is great with small children, barks when there is noises, and listens and obeys commands. If you would like to meet with Nala, please email me at "giveadogahome@live.com"
Nala, came to GaDaH as an owner surrender. She is extremely energetic and with the previous owners having a small child, she became too much.
Nala, as I say has lots of energy and so she will need to have a lot of training, play, runs ect, to release this energy.
She is good around other dogs, surviving the sniff and bark test from 7 GSDs and Morgan .. can't forget little Morgan.
After 5 minutes of being a little unsure she wanted to play, and set off running around the house.
She was at New Braufnels Humane Society, and then transfered to San Antonio Humane Society, and from their on to her previous owners.
Nala, will be ready for adoption as soon as an application has been succesfully submitted and approved. she will have had the HW test BEFORE she is adopted out.

NALA's adoption is a minimum donation of $250
The adoption process includes, but is not limited to:
Potential adopters are encouraged to meet NALA as often as they like, and no rush decisions made. If after the above, both parties would like to go forward with an adoption, then a TWO-WEEK Temporary foster contract is completed, before any adoption process can be complete. This is to ensure the potential adopters, NALA, and GaDaH are all happy.
