SHADOW was saved from San Antonio animal care services with a bad case of demodex mange, mainly on and around her face.

With treatment and a happy pack lifestyle the mange cleared up and in October 2012. SHADOW was selected to enter the Shepherds for Lost Sheep Service Dog training program. However, she was not to enter the program until the middle of March 2013

Due to this SHADOW led a chilled out life living with the pack and didn't have to go to any adoption events, and so unfortunately she is not too confident when outside.

So, she will need a little bit of work in that she will need to have her confidence built up - that will require time and patience. When she is with the pack she is great, she does her own thing, she plays with the pups and the dogs, but LOVES to be around her humans :)
