GRACIE is one of the sweetest girls ever. She has been at the rescue for over a year, she gets lots of attention, but no one ever seems to follow through. GRACIE and her two siblings are great dogs. They have been to adoption events and LOVE people. They get on great with other dogs, living with dogs of all ages, and medical conditions.

GRACIE loves going for rides in the car and adventures on walks, she has had no formal training, and does pull a little on the leash and jumps when she is excited. She is very well behaved, is very responsive and will be very easy to train.

She loves to be close and share all the love that she has. At adoption events, she is calm, loves children. GRACIE has been on a temporary foster trial, however, the family had cats and GRACIE wouldn't leave the cats alone. With some work and persistence she may well leave them alone, it  is more of a play / curiosity than wanting to hurt them, but a home WITHOUT cats is preferred.

We have been hoping that someone would step up and do the "Foster to Train" program as we believe she would make an outstanding service dog.

Gracie has a pure bred German Shepherd mother. She is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, micro-chipped and heart-worm negative.

GRACIE can be adopted from Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue, her adoption donation is $150.

GaDaH does allow out of state adoptions, however, we do require that the family travels to San Antonio to spend time with her to be sure a perfect fit before traveling home together as a perfect new family.
