|
GWEN was saved from Fort Worth Animal Services on 5th November 2014 with severe mange and skin infections.
Whilst being in rescue and under treatment she has done great and all infections has been cleared and mange gone. GWEN now just needs to have her hair grow back, it has already started coming through great on her face, her body will just take time, but soon enough she will have a full coat and no one would ever know she was in such a horrible neglected condition.
Since GWEN has been feeling better she has definitely found her "puppy-ness" she is full of life, loves to chase and play with the other dogs, adult and puppies and she loves her toys. GWEN will benefit from an active family that can give her not only the physical exercise that she needs, but also the mental stimulation that this intelligent breed needs to keep their mind occupied and challenged.
GWEN, as all dogs, will need some obedience training with the family. This will not only set the boundaries but will also let her know what is expected from her and allow both GWEN and her new family to learn about each other's ways an mannerisms.
GWEN although very energetic loves to hang out and get / give lots of cuddles and kisses. She is a very loving affectionate girl.
GWEN is spayed, rabies, up to date on vaccines, heart-worm tested negative, de-wormed and micro-chipped. She has a date of birth of around 2nd April 2014 and currently weighs around 50 pounds
GWEN is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $350.
Our application and process can be found on our website under the application tab.
