GISELE was saved from BARC Animal Shelter in Houston.

She was noted as an owner surrender, but no reason given. GISELE is very sweet and gentle, she is very loving and quite playful, she acts and looks younger than the 3 years that she has been aged at.

GISELE is well mannered, although when she gets excited she does jump up a little, at the rescue I free-feed and she does growl a little at other dogs if any of them come near her whilst she is at the food bowl, but I would not consider her to be aggressive, but if other dogs are in the home, she might need to be observed initially during meal times.

GISELE, as all rescue dogs would benefit from some obedience training with her new family so that she can learn her boundaries and what is expected from her, and her new family can learn her body language and what makes her tick.

GISELE has been aged at 3 years old (December 2011), she is spayed, rabies, up to date on her vaccines, de-wormed, tested negative for heartworm disease and is mirco-chipped. She currently weighs around 40 pounds and I believe this is her ideal weight.

GISELE is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $170.
