SPIRO was saved from BARC shelter and was in a much worse state than the shelter had said.  He was taken immediately to Leon Valley Vet Clinic where Dr. Meier determined him to be extremely anemic,dehydrated, severe demodex and skin infections. He couldn't stand up and was immediately put on IV fluids and anti-biotic.  

Since being home with the pack, SPIRO has made amazing progress and as you can see from the photo his hair has almost all grown back, he is eating, he is running and playing with the other pups and to look at him you would never know how close to a miserable, painful death he was.

SPIRO is feeling great and is ready for his new forever family to find him and take him into their hearts and homes.

SPIRO is a typical puppy, he runs, he plays, he barks and is just all puppy. Which considering what he has been through is so heartwarming.

SPIRO is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $350.
