JACK was saved from Wise County Animal Shelter.

Volunteers at the shelter reported the following:

I loved this dog today! He is gorgeous! He is very well behaved - he's a big boy and he knows it and is mindful of his size around the kids. He ran happily over to greet them, but each time I watched him pull up before getting close enough to them that he would bump them and then stop so they could pet him. He never jumped on them and was very gentle the whole time. He was extremely affectionate - especially towards me. He kept sitting at my feet and putting his head up against me and talking. He listened extremely well, walked very well on the leash and shows signs of being housebroken. I took him to the concrete run first and when I noticed he was pacing - I leashed him back up and took him to the grass and he did his business right away.

Since being at the rescue JACK has been a little dominant, but stops when he is called at. He is very affectionate , he is responsive to commands and is a homely boy.

JACK is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $350
