KENDALL was saved from BARC Kill shelter in Houston. He has been aged by the shelter as 18mths old, however, he looks and acts somewhat younger than that and I would say more at 9-12 months old.
KENDALL is a very sweet boy, he can be a little cautious of people initially, but this is a German Shepherd trait and one that I respect. Once he has accepted that you are safe, KENDALL is a love bug, he is very gentle and affectionate.
KENDALL is great with the other dogs, he was initially quiet and kept himself to himself but has recently started playing and wrestling with the other dogs.
KENDALL will suit an active family that can take him to lots of places and let him run, play and smell and just take in all the world has to offer. German Shepherds are very intelligent dogs and they need mental stimulation as much as the physical exercise. KENDALL will benefit from at least basic obedience training with his new family, this helps him to learn what is expected from him and his boundaries and also lets both family and dog learn about each other, which is very important.
KENDALL is neutered, rabies, up to date on vaccines, de-wormed, tested negative for heart-worm disease and is micro-chipped.
KENDALL is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $350.
