|
WATSON was saved from Smith County KILL Shelter. He is our FIRST SAVE of 2015.
Everyone involved in his transport to rescue fell absolutely in love with him.
WATSON is a love bug for sure, he is at that "goofy" age where he is growing into his feet and ears... he is very inquisitive, jumped up and down on the XL crates in the treatment area. He was happy to meet the other dogs and responded to them very well.
He is all about giving kisses. He does jump up, but he is very responsive to commands.
WATSON is going to be a big boy and we are hoping to find a family that understands the needs of the intelligence of the German Shepherd Dog. A family that understands that WATSON is going to need a lot of mental stimulation to keep that wonderful inquisitive mind engaged and he is of course going to need a lot of physical exercise. That being said, until he has stopped growing (around 2 years old when bone growth plates are complete) he is not to be pushed as this could cause damage to his joints and bone growth.
WATSON is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed, heart-worm tested negative and micro-chipped. He has a date of birth of around April 2014
WATSON is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $350.
Our application process and form can be found on our website under the application tab.
