SASHA was saved from Fort Worth Animal services on 4th February 2015. SASHA is a stunning Red and Black German Shepherd and is a high energy girl, who gets on great with other dogs. She does jump up and needs work on her manners but this is mostly due to being excited.
SASHA will benefit from a family that has the time to spend with an active dog, bearing in mind that German Shepherds stay active for many years and are not the kind of dogs to be left to entertain themselves in your yard. She will need a family that understands the need for stimulation and both mental and physical exercise.
She will, as all dogs, benefit from basic and advanced obedience with her new family - so that she can learn of what is to be expected from her and both SASHA and her new family can learn about each others body language and such.
SASHA is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed, heart-worm tested negative and micro-chipped. She has an estimated date of birth of 16 January 2014 and at the time of rescue weighed 56 pounds.
SASHA is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $350.
We DO allow out of state adoptions, using reputable transport companies!
