ARIELA was saved from Companion Animal Alliance, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was scheduled to be killed and we managed to arrange flights with Pilots n Paws to fly her to safety at the rescue in Devine, on 13th February 2015.

ARIELA did have a skin condition where she had tested negative for sarcoptic mnage, but the vet wanted to treat her as a precaution.

At the rescue ARIELA has been great, she is a very sweet, affectionate girl who is always smiling. She comes up to be fussed on, but is not demanding and imposing. She gets on great with the other dogs and has been happy to play with them all.

ARIELA is hoping to find an active family that will take her to lots of interesting places and let her take in the sights and smells the world has to offer. She would benefit from at least basic obedience, but hopefully advanced training also. This not only helps to laydown the boundaries and expectations, but also helps to build a bond and more of an understanding of personalities and body language.

ARIELA is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed and micro-chipped. She did test positive for heart-worm disease but we are hoping to get her treated by the end of February 2015.

ARIELA is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $350
