SMOKEY was saved from Montgomery County Animal Services on 28th February 2015 along with her siblings.

SMOKEY is at first very shy, but soon warms up when she knows she can trust you and get lots of love. She gets along great with the other pups, both her age and younger and is coming out of her shell each day. SMOKEY is very gentle and is one of the smaller siblings and sometimes gets bullied a little. This, however, I am certain will subside when the pups are with the rest of the dogs and they have other things to focus their attention on.

SMOKEY is very sweet and affectionate and as well as cuddle with her humans she loves to cuddle with her siblings, she is very responsive and seems eager to learn.

We don't have cats in the rescue so we cannot say how he will act, however, since she is young, with correct guidance and training and letting her satisfy any curiosity I am confident she can live in harmony with any feline friends.

SMOKEY will benefit from a family that has the time to spend training her to basic and advanced levels. This not only helps form a strong bond, but also enables boundaries and expectations to be set and both family and her body language be learnt.

SMOKEY is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed and micro-chipped.  She is too young to be heart-worm tested, but has been on prevention since she arrived at rescue. CASHEW has an estimated date of birth of 21 October 2014 and at the time of rescue she weighed 14.2 pounds.

SMOKEY is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $300.
