Scott was saved from San Antonio Animal Care Services on 2nd May 2015

He was initially a little over-whelmed when he saw the other rescue dogs, but after a few hours of being at the other side of the fence from them he started to warm up and gained more confidence over time. He is happy walking amongst them, although he is not yet at the crazy running around and playing state. He did initially jump up a little bit, but I think that was more to do with being a little nervous than anything else.

SCOTT is a love bug and any chance he gets he will get close and let me rub his ears and chest. He is very smart and is very responsive. We do not have cats at the rescue so I am unable to say how he is with cats, but he is happy being amongst the small wire-haired terriers and the larger German Shepherds with no problems at all.

SCOTT will benefit from a relatively active family who can take him on adventures and let him take in the sights, smells and sounds the world has to offer. He walks good on a leash, and is responsive. I believe he would be very easy to train. He would absolutely benefit from basic and advanced training with his new family. This will enable a stronger bond and allows both family and SCOTT to learn more of each others personalities and body language.

SCOTT is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed, tested negative for heart-worm disease and is micro-chipped. RICKY has an estimated date of birth of 28 April 2012 and at the time of rescue he weighed 49.90 pounds.
