THOR was saved from San Antonio Animal Care Services, before he was set to be killed. His paperwork on intake says "confiscate" so it seems like he was taken away from his family, I have no idea why, but it can't be for good reasons.

THOR (named by the shelter) is a cute young boy, he does like to be as close to me as possible and is a little "needy' but I think that is more due to him having gone through whatever happened with his family, then being taken to the shelter that smells of death, fear and disease. Then of course here to the rescue, where he has settled in great. He is not intimidated by the bigger dogs, he gets along well with the small dogs and has even played nicely with our 5 week old puppy, CHECKER!

THOR we think is a toy terrier he does have the wire hair, being white he does get the tear stains as you can see in the photo's. THOR is super cute, he loves playing with his toys and of course squeaky toys are his favourite.

THOR would be best suited to a family that is familiar with small breed dogs and understands that at times they can be a little "needy". THOR is responsive and i believe with correct guidance he would be easy to train and as with all dogs would benefit and enjoy basic and advanced obedience.

THOR is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $300.

THOR is currently located in TEXAS, however, we use PETS LLC to transport our adopted dogs to meet up with their families along the east coast. Their transport fee is $175 and is paid directly to them. This fee is in addition to the adoption fee.
