BAXTER was saved from San Antonio Animal Care Services on 1st April 2015. I have no idea what he is mixed with as he is small-medium sized.

BAXTER was great when I brought him back to the rescue with no fears or feeling of intimidation at all, he couldn't wait to get in amongst the pack and run, chase and play with them all. BAXTER, true to his age is all energy and play, he rarely keeps still but is happy and not a bother when he is playing. He plays with the adult German Shepherds and the small terriers and plays appropriately to their size.

BAXTER is very responsive and I believe he would take very quickly to basic and advanced training and would also love any other activities such as Rally or maybe even agility. BAXTER as mentioned is a small- medium sized dog and I believe he will not grow much, if any more.

BAXTER will benefit from a family that has time to train and challenge him. He is at the teenager age and needs to be kept occupied to keep him out of mischief. BAXTER rides great in the car and loves to go for drives and I'm sure would love to go on hikes or nice long interesting walks along nature trails or state parks so that he can take in all the sights and smells the world has to offer. BAXTER also LOVES the water, so expect him to go straight for it if he sees it.

BAXTER is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed, tested negative for heart-worm disease and is micro-chipped. He has an approximate date of birth of1 October 2014 and at the time of rescue weighed 24.40 pounds.

He is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $170

BAXTER is located in Texas, h owever, we use PETS LLC to transport our precious saved souls to meet their families along the east coast. They cahrge $175 per dog and this fee is paid directly to them and is in ADDITION to the adoption fee.
