SCOTTIE was saved from Fort Worth Kill shelter in Texas and transported up to the rescue now located in Sebec, Maine.
SCOTTIE is a sweet boy, very affectionate, he loves to lie and cuddle up on your knee, or as close as he can get, but then when it is time to go for a walk he has all the get up and go, full of life and energy and just happiness beaming from his beautiful face.
SCOTTIE is great with other dogs and he is currently sharing a kennel with a small 8 pound cutie terrier and they play great together. He plays with the bigger dogs in rescue with no issues and is generally an all round great boy.
He was adopted from the shelter for a day and returned because the family said that he did not like their young boy. The shelter was confused at this as he had been around lots of small children visiting the shelter and was just a complete love bug on them - so caution should be taken just to be sure, even though we do not think that he has any issues.
SCOTTIE is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, lepto vaccine, de-wormed, Heartworm and tick disease negative and micro-chipped. He has recently had a veterinary examination for a health certificate to enable him to travel into Maine.
SCOTTIE has an estimated date of birth of 8 July 2014 and at the time of coming to rescue (27 July 2016) he weighed 35.00 pounds.
The rescue is located in Sebec, Maine, 04481 and we are happy to welcome families to meet the dogs via an appointment. If you are unable to travel up to Maine, we can work together and arrange transport, we have a few options available.
