KEEVA was saved from Fort Worth Animal Shelter in Texas. He was transported from Texas to Sebec, Maine and arrived at the rescue on 12th August 2015.
KEEVA is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, lepto vaccine, de-wormed, heart-worm tested negative and micro-chipped. He has an estimated date of birth of 13 July 2014 and at the time of rescue he weighed around 45pounds.
KEEVA is a stunning, lively, happy, playful girl. As you can see from the video she loves to play, roll around and wrestle. She is good with small dogs and knows when to back off, and she just loves to play and chase dogs her size or those a little bigger than her. KEEVA with think is a Tibetan Terrier mix, although we are not sure.
KEEVA would benefit from an active family that will take her to different places and let her experience what the world has to offer. She walks ok on a leash, but as with all dogs, would benefit from basic and advanced obedience training. KEEVA is very smart and responsive and I do not think that it would take her long to learn with correct training.
KEEVA is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $350.

If you feel that you have the heart and home to give this precious beauty who was close to being killed a wonderful life, please go to our website, under the APPLICATION tab, complete, then submit the APPLICATION. Our process takes around 3-7 days, and ensuring your references are aware that we will be calling, could speed up the process. Once you have been approved, we discuss any questions in regards to the dog you are wanting to adopt, then you complete and submit the contract, make payment and then we can work out the pick up / transport arrangements.

The rescue is located in Sebec, Maine, 04481 and we do prefer if families can travel up to meet the dog before taking them home to start their new lives, however, we do understand that this is not always possible and will work with you in finding suitable transport to get them to you. This may come at an additional cost to the adopter
