WENDY was saved from San Antonio Animal Care Services in Texas on 29 April 2015. She had a severely swollen back leg and so was taken direct to our vet for x-rays, which determined that she had a broken leg. Surgery was scheduled and he had her leg pinned on 1st May. WENDY was kept at the vet for 3 weeks to ensure her leg set properly and then in June she went back and had the pins removed. Dr. Deason was very pleased with her progress. WENDY couldn't wait to start running and playing and is a very happy, active, playful and affectionate young girl. She is very responsive and with correct guidance and training she would be an amazing pet. WENDY loves to run and chase the other dogs, she can get a little rough at times, but that is with the bigger dogs, or dogs her own size, with the smaller dogs she tends to be more gentle. WENDY is great with dogs of all sizes and she is happy and welcoming to all adults and children. She would need to be watched as when excited she does jump up a little, but with guidance and training this is an easy thing to fix. WENDY is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, lepto vaccine, de-wormed, heart-worm and tick disease tested negative and micro-chipped. She has an estimated date of birth of 29 April 2014 and weighs around 55 - 65 pounds. WENDY would benefit a family that is active, she would be great with children to play with and help burn off all her energy. A family that will work with her on basic and advanced obedience and take her for walks, hikes, car rids and as many different adventures as possible would be perfect.
