LACEY was saved from San Antonio Animal Care Services, KILL Shelter in Texas.
LACEY is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed and micro-chipped. She is too young to be heart-worm tested, however, is now on monthly heart-worm prevention. LACEY has an estimated date of birth of 29 October 2015 and at the time of rescue weighted 8.30 pounds.
LACEY went to her temporary foster home and met her foster sibling and is doing great At first she was very scared and wouldn't go anywhere, but her confidence has gained and she is happy playing with her toys and learning from her fellow canines. So far she is very treat motivated, which could be because she is very under-weight, but will of course help with training and gaining her confidence and trust.
LACEY has the most gorgeous blue eyes, but don't let that be the only reason you are drawn to her, cute and playful now she is of course going to grow into an active adult dog that is going to need plenty of exercise, both physical and mental stimulation with activities to challenge her intelligent mind. Puppies are also a LOT of work!
LACEY would benefit from an active family who understands the intelligence and needs of a working breed dog. She will need basic and advanced obedience and this is always best done with her new family so all can learn each others personalities, body language, expectations and boundaries for all can be set
LACEY is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $450.
If you are interested in adopting this beautiful blue-eyed girl and giving her the life she needs and deserves our application can be completed and submitted on our website under the APPLICATION tab.

LACEY is in one of our foster homes located in San Antonio, TEXAS. Transport to the east coast is available for an additional $175 that is paid directly to the transport company. We post in states along the east coast and Canada as this gives our precious saved souls more exposure and once adopted, we are able to save more dogs from the kill shelters in Texas that get 3 days before they are killed.
