CHAR is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed and micro-chipped. At the time of her spay surgery at the beginning of June she weighed 47 pounds, her date of birth is 31 March 2013.

Char and her 8 puppies were rescued within hours of being euthanized from Fort Worth, Tx. In March of 2016. She is estimated to be about 3 years old. Although literally skin and bones when rescued, she has filled out to a hardy 47 pounds. She appears to be a Kelpie/GSD mix. Char has blossomed into such a terrific girl! She is potty trained, walks on a leash, listens very well, will be easily trained, comes when called and LOVES to snuggle. Char can be quiet and mellow but loves to play with her pups, her foster sisters and squeaky furry toys. It is time for Char to be the puppy she never got to be! She is good with cats, people and even guinea pigs! She has a very gentle heart, soft fur and eyes that will melt you. Char is the perfect companion dog!

CHAR is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $450.

Once you have been approved, we discuss any questions in regards to the dog you are wanting to adopt, then you complete and submit the contract, make payment and then we can work out the pick up / transport arrangements.

CHAR is located in Texas and we work with transport organizations that transport to locations in each state along the east coast. This costs $175 which would be in addition to the adoption fee and must be paid direct to the transport company. We post in various states along the east coast and Canada where we have had lots of successful adoptions to enable more exposure for these beautiful saved souls.
