KIMARA was saved from Garland Kill Shelter on 17th January 2015.

KIMARA is, we believe (but could be wrong) a long-haired German Shepherd Dog. She is extremely affectionate and sweet and loves to come and lean into to you so she can get her belly rubbed.

KIMARA is great with other dogs and people of all ages. We do not have cats in the rescue so are unable to say if she will bother with cats.

KIMARA would do great with a family that is active and who loves to take their pets everywhere with them. She needs a family that understands that she is an intelligent girl and needs plenty of mental stimulation as well as physical exercise.

KIMARA will need basic and hopefully go on to advanced training and would love to be a part of other activities. She needs a family that will take the alpha role, as German Shepherds need a leader, or they will assume the leader role. she will need guidance as to what is expected from her and understanding that she may need some time to settle into her new home.

KIMARA is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed, heartworm tested NEGATIVE. She weighs approximately 35-40 pounds and has a date of birth of around March 2014.

KIMARA is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $350.
