BRIDGETTE was saved from San Antonio Animal Care Services at 4 weeks old along with her mother and 4 siblings, they had all been scheduled to be killed. I am not sure what breed mix she is - brindle makes me think boxer, her mother was a GSD mix, so maybe some lab in there too. BRIDGETTE is the runt of the litter and considerably smaller than her siblings.

At the rescue they have done great and when they had had their second shots they was able to be with the rest of the dogs. This has been great for them as they have been educated in how to behave in the dog world and has given them a great start to the big wide world.

BRIDGETTE is a little fire-cracker, growing up with the pack has given her lots of confident and she knows and understands how to be and communicate and understand other dogs, which is very important for her future play dates and trips to dog-parks. BRIDGETTE is very affectionate, loving and playful and eagerly comes to claim her love, fuss and maybe the odd treat and of course shower you with kisses also.

BRIDGETTE will benefit from an active family, she would be fantastic with children, she would love to go on car rides, hikes, walks, playing ball, chase or any other fun games, or of course just to snuggle up and hang out. She definitely needs to have basic and advanced obedience with her new family. This not only sets boundaries and expectations but allows both BRIDGETTE and her new family to learn each others personalities and body language, which will strengthen bonding and understanding.

BRIDGETTE is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, lepto-vaccine, heart-worm tested, de-wormed and micro-chipped. She  BRIDGETTE has an estimated date of birth of 31 January 2015.

BRIDGETTE is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $200.

GaDaH has recently relocated to Sebec, Maine, 04481. We welcome visitors BY APPOINTMENT and prefer for families to drive up and enjoy the beautiful state whilst visiting and meeting with any of our dogs before taking them home to start their new wonderful lives. Dogs will NOT leave the rescue until an application has been APPROVED. If you are not able to travel, we can work on transport, however, this will most likely incur an additional fee.

We post in other states where we have the most adoptions to be able to get the most exposure for our precious saved souls so that we can find them homes and continue to save more lives that are in the HIGH KILL shelters in Texas.
